Used when something matches a pattern or is exactly what you expected.
Affirmative
✔ That tracks.
(Confirms that something makes sense.)
Interrogative
✔ Does that track?
(Checks if an idea or explanation makes sense.)
Negative
✔ That doesn’t (really) track.
(Shows polite doubt or logical disagreement.)
*Notice: Never use the present continuous with this slang: "It's tracking", "It's not tracking" or "Is it tracking? NEVER.
Common in casual American English, especially in conversations about everyday situations.
